For the Love of Thunder is a responsible breeder of Bichon Frise and Bichon Crosses in Saskatchewan, Canada. Though we are based in Saskatchewan we offer puppies for sale across Canada.  We have sent our puppies from Vancouver Island, B.C. to St. John's, Newfoundand and all points in between.  Established in 2010, we produce puppies, with a focus on temperament and structural soundness.  I have an endless list of new puppy owners who are happy to talk to you about their "bundle of joy" as well as ease your fears of flying a puppy.

We were passed the baton from a Bichon Frise breeder of 23 years from southern Saskatchewan and we are continuing her journey.  We are happy to answer any questions you have. From the moment the girls are pregnant they are pampered and spoiled to the core.  There are no kennels or runs here.  All dogs have the run of the house and sleep on beds and enjoy watching TV with anyone who is on "their" couch.

The girls are switched over to puppy food when they are in their 6th week of pregnancy.  A week before their due date I cancel all social activities so that I can be here when the puppies make their arrival into this world. I am always available for my girls during this time.  Yes, I do let nature take its course but there are times when the mamas need a little assistance and support.  All my puppies are extremely well socialized with people of all ages and with dogs.  They are all started on training to use pee pads when the weather is bad but would prefer to go outside.  They will know the word "outside" when they leave my home.
